Fertility Care for Trans People

At GENNET City Fertility, we operate a large fertility preservation programme so are able to support you with your fertility options and planning for a future family. We understand that there can be many complex and important decisions that need to be made before you transition. Our team is on hand to ensure that preserving your fertility and planning for your future is one of those easier ones.

Fertility Preservation for Trans women

We can cryopreserve and store your sperm for up to 55 years so that you have the option of having a family after you have transitioned. There are a number of routes to parenthood for trans women including future host surrogacy as a single woman and our team will discuss all options with you and guide you through the process.

Fertility Preservation for Trans men

We are able to collect and cryopreserve your eggs and store for up to 55 years so that you have the option of creating a family after you have transitioned. You have a number of options available to you for using your eggs for a future family including fertilising with donor sperm and a female partner carrying the pregnancy or future host surrogacy as a single person. Our team will discuss all options with you and support you through the process.

Is Fertility Preservation for me?

It can be hard to think about whether you want to become a parent in the future and to have a biological link to your child, especially when you already have so many other things to think about before you transition, but by freezing your eggs or sperm with us, you can ensure that you do have the option of having a family of your own in the future if you feel that this is the right path for you.
