Thousands of babies are born each year with the help of sperm donors. Donor sperm has been safely used to achieve successful pregnancies for same-sex couples and single women and allows couples to become parents where the male partner has a low sperm count, isn’t producing any sperm at all or if there is a high risk of passing on a genetic condition.

The recent outbreak of infections with the novel coronavirus has been naturally a source of concern for many of our existing and prospective patients. Due to the uncertainty as to the course of this outbreak many patients expressed their wish to pursue fertility treatment despite the concern.
